Colombian coffee region invests $6.9 million to boost tourism

Colombia is doubling down on coffee tourism. In Risaralda, one of Colombia’s prime coffee growing regions, the government is dedicating USD $6.9 Million towards the beautification of houses, parks, and town squares. Featuring some of the highest biodiversity in the world, Risaralda draws eco-tourists from around the world every year. To encourage the growth of sustainable tourism and further highlight the region’s strong suits, funds will also be allocated to the construction of bird-watching lookouts and other eco-friendly infrastructure, as well as a host of small coffee shops. At LIFEAFAR, we’ve positioned our investors to benefit from Colombia’s flourishing tourist industry and the growing demand for premium Colombian coffee.
